My absolute joy would have it that I was able to buy my dream car. An old 911 Porsche. I found one in Glasgow and decided to type "Garages in Notting Hill" into Google to see who would be able to look after it The first one that came up was David at Portobello Garage. I called him and immediately realised that I had met a very rare professional that actually wanted to go out of his way to help me. He offered to fly up to Glasgow with me and check out the car even though I was a stranger who he had never met!

The car in Glasgow fell through yet David still continued on his path to help me find a car contacting old friends and on my behalf and doing some serious research.

Not long after, I actually found an old Porsche 911 on Ebay. David immediately came down to have a look at it and with his professional eye insisted that it was 'The One!'

I have not had so much joy or pleasure out of my 1973 Porsche 911 and David and the guys at the garage have made sure that the car is now in immaculate condition.

Although without David crossing my path I may have eventually found the car but it would NEVER look and drive the way it does, nor would I ever get the kind of service from any other garage. I cannot recommend anyone using David's garage enough.

My family and I own a few vehicles and have always asked Portobello Garage to service them. We have cars stationed outside of London but the boys have never made it a problem collecting and delivering within a set time frame; they are excellent at what they do and are very humble with it. I particularly like the fact that they are a small garage as you get a very personalised service.

I am a regular at the garage I have the wife's car and my own car to look after, I like the fact that BWGL are a family affair they focus on small detail and always come up with ideas on how to improve the driving experience you don't get that with large formal places. I highly recommend to all my staff and friends and if you have a few cars to keep ship shape the loyalty card they give you after your first visit can really save you some money. I go to Portobello Garage for general servicing, MOT's and bodywork ive known them now for 3yrs and I cant say enough about them, I like it that there small it feels like your very own personal garage. The loyalty card comes in useful too!

David at Portobello Garage is always available to talk to 24/7 I can ask questions and get straight answers evenings or weekends, I always go there for my servicing, admissions, and tyres etc very reasonable on price haven't know them to put there labour charge up since I've been there which is 2yrs now...

I go to Portobello Garage for general service and brakes and so forth. They collect my car and sort it out within a day and deliver back outside my house I work outside of town so this is very useful to myself and family. They are very courteous and polite and always make me feel im getting value for money.
